CLINIQUE MEDICAL, launched in the fall of 2008, is a physician-dispensed skin care line resulting from an innovative alliance between Allergan and Clinique.
The products in the CLINIQUE MEDICAL Optimizing Regimen kit are scientifically-designed and clinically-proven to work together to help improve the skin’s receptivity to the benefits of laser skin resurfacing such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) or fractionated laser treatments, chemical peels such as 30% Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) peels, and microdermabrasion.1 Products in the kit also aid in the post-procedure recovery process by helping to manage post-procedure visible excess redness and irritation, encourage even skin tone and enhance skin’s resilience to the visible signs of aging.
The CLINIQUE MEDICAL skin care line combines carefully selected ingredients with patent-pending components such as Probiotic Technology to create beautiful formulas that help prepare, support and maintain the skin pre- and post-treatment. The CLINIQUE MEDICAL skin care line, which is Allergy Tested, 100% Fragrance Free and contains no preservatives, includes the following products:

- Probiotic Cleanser containing patent-pending Probiotic Technology and Lipid Barrier Repair Complex to help thoroughly remove debris and stubborn makeup to aid treatment penetration
- Skin Conditioning Treatment containing a three-part Exfoliating Complex, Turmeric Root Extract and Vitamin C to help prepare skin by exfoliating without irritation and encouraging even skin tone
- Recovery Week Complex containing 1% hydrocortisone, Turmeric Root and Vitamin C to help manage visible excess redness and irritation and help inhibit appearance of skin discoloration
- Optimizing Treatment Cream containing patent-pending Optimizing Complex, Palmitoyl-8, Centella Asiatica and Vitamin A to help prevent irritation and complement benefits of a procedure by helping to reduce the appearance of visible lines and wrinkles
