Robert A. Ingram

Appointed to the Board in 2005. Mr. Ingram is currently a General Partner of Hatteras Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on early stage life science companies. Mr. Ingram has also served as a strategic advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of GlaxoSmithKline plc since January 2010 and previously served as the Vice Chairman Pharmaceuticals since January 2003. Mr. Ingram was Chief Operating Officer and President, Pharmaceutical Operations of GlaxoSmithKline plc from January 2001 until his retirement in January 2003. Prior to that, Mr. Ingram was Chief Executive Officer of Glaxo Wellcome plc from October 1997 to December 2000; and Chairman of Glaxo Wellcome Inc., Glaxo Wellcome plc’s United States subsidiary, from January 1999 to December 2000. Mr. Ingram is Chairman of the Board of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International and Elan Pharmaceuticals and is a director of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation, Lowe’s Companies, Inc., and Cree, Inc.
