Each year at Allergan's Authors' and Inventors' Reception, we honor the best publication and patent in both basic and clinical research as well as the Allergan scientists and inventors who made this work possible. Allergan presents awards for best papers in three categories: Basic, Applied, and Clinical Sciences. In addition, we recognize our inventors who were granted patents in the areas of Basic and Applied Sciences.
Criteria for the selection of best papers and patents include quality of research, quality of the manuscript, contribution of the manuscript to the scientific community, and the impact or potential impact of the manuscript or invention on Allergan.
